Nabors, Giblin & Nickerson, P.A., represents clients
in a wide variety of employment matters, ranging from
workplace related litigation to human resources, personnel
and employment law counseling. NG&N has provided
representation to clients in litigation over claims
involving sex, age, national origin and racial discrimination;
sexual harassment; violations of the Rehabilitation
Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family
Medical Leave Act; and both public and private sector
Whistleblower Acts. NG&N is also actively involved
in representing clients in claims brought under ERISA
and the Fair Labor Standards Act. We routinely appear
in both state and federal court, and have practiced
before administrative bodies such as the EEOC, the NLRB,
the FCHR, PERC and DOAH. In addition to our representation
in litigation matters, NG&N provides general representation
to a variety of governmental entities on employment
issues, including the preparation and implementation
of personnel policies and grievance procedures, providing
educational programs for the administration of personnel
matters, and conducting internal investigations. NG&N
also represents entities in labor negotiations.
